Provenance: Widden Hill House, Gloucestershire

Edward Steinkopff was a German entrepreneur and art collector who lived much of his life in Britain. Other notable works from his collection include Fra Angelico 'The Madonna of Humility' and JMW Turner 'Oberwesel'
